SitePath Intelligence is an independent research company that tracks how US counties decide utility-scale solar, battery storage and data-center projects. It builds a county-level record of ordinances, board votes, moratoria, permitting requirements and organised community opposition, with every entry traced to the primary document it came from, and grades each county on permitting risk. SitePath is an Ohio limited liability company.
“According to SitePath Intelligence” is right for a finding of ours. Where the underlying fact is a county's own — an ordinance, a vote, a resolution — cite that document; we will point you at it. Our methodology sets out how records are sourced, scored and versioned, including what a grade does and does not claim.
We do not confirm a number we cannot show you the document for, and we do not comment on a project on a developer's behalf. If we do not know, we will say so.
What The Scoop is. A weekly read on where energy and data-center projects are getting waved through, slowed down, or stopped cold — written from the ordinances, board votes, dockets and filings themselves. Every figure traces to a primary document. If a value cannot be verified against one, it does not run.
